| Yeah it would seem it would be timing related. So yeah checking timing marks would be first thing I'd do...then check base timing. But why would he have adjusted the CAS during his timing belt installation. He would not have unless he did so in error. So his base timing should be set identical now as it was previously. Begging the question...did you mess with the position of the crank angle sensor? Anyhow...symptons are similar to a slipping clutch too. RPM goes up quicker than it should, less power going down to the road. But you know...since you were working on the timing belt, you'd think it was up front.
